About Chromosome X

A chromosome which carries hundreds of genes (most known for sex-linked/X-linked genes), which is important because of three things:

-males only have a single X chromosome

-Almost all the genes on the X have no counterpart on the Y chromosome

-Any gene on the X, even if recessive in females, will be expressed in males
